Adam Gallant (trumpet) earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education and a Master of Arts degree in music studies from the University of New Hampshire. He performs regularly with the Portsmouth Symphony, Maine State Ballet, UNH Theatre and Dance, New England Brass, UNH faculty brass quintet, and the UNH faculty trumpet trio. Adam is also the brass instructor at Stratham Cooperative Middle School and North Hampton Elementary School.

Biographies

Greg Bechtold (trumpet) earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education and music performance from the University of New Hampshire. He also received a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance from Illinois State University. While in Illinois, Bechtold performed with the ISU faculty brass quintet, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, and as principal trumpet with the ISU symphony and wind ensemble.

Ben Stadelmann (tuba) earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of New Hampshire. He also received a Master of Music degree in music performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At UMASS he performed with the graduate brass quintet, tuba/euphonium ensemble, symphony orchestra, and wind ensemble. Stadelmann is currently a master repair technician for K & C Music Company and an active Boston freelance musician.

Emeritus Founding Members

Jonathan Kenney (trombone) earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Music degree in jazz studies from New England Conservatory. He currently resides in Denver Colorado and is a general music teacher at Green Valley Elementary School. Kenney is principal trombone with the DBC and Tnertle. He is also a member of Tromboniacs.

Gray Ferris (horn) earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Music degree in horn performance from the University of Arizona. He currently resides in Culiacan, Sinaloa where he is a horn player with the Orqestra Sinfonica Sinaloa de las Artes. Gray formerly held the second horn chair with the Knoxville Symphony.
